| Your email, if you give it | The Calm Kit door and the list ask for an email address, and optionally a first name. They’re stored with Kit (kit.com), the service that sends the emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click. Your address is never sold, rented, or shared, and it’s only used for what the form said it was for: opening the kit, and one plain note when there’s a new book or a new page for the fridge. |
| What the site itself records | mirandawellsbooks.com is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare keeps standard, aggregate traffic logs to run the service. The site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising pixels. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees a request for the font file and nothing about you. |
| Buying the book | The book is sold by Amazon. When you click through to buy, you’re on Amazon and their policies apply. Amazon doesn’t tell us who bought the book, which is why the Calm Kit is open to anyone who leaves an email, with or without a purchase. |
